Stop mentioning that Bhaal is a lord of murder and that you have to be a *magical* or an *assasin*. Like Gavid, some bhaalspwawn didn't even know he was a bhaalspawn until he was killed. I'd say Sorcerer Human, Elf _Elf.

Human, of course...a human sorcerer. Or any class excluded the druid, it doesn't fit into being the child of the lord of murder at all!

On another point. If you went a sorcerer because of your "divine power" wouldn't that get taken away when Irenicus steals your soul.

Perhaps irenicus only selectively stole the essence of your Bhaal soul, and left your puny spell casting abilities intact :p

I think the requirements for Illusionists are humans or gnomes and at least a 16 dexterity with the opposing school being necromancy. Look at the NPC Jan for an example. What that boils down to is that Illusionists can't learn and memorize necromany spells. It's all about the playing style.

As for what race fits best, well seeing as how Bhaal gets around *cough* any of them. Whatever strikes you as best.

[IMG] You could have a gnomish lord of murder if you had to gnome bhaalspawn one standing on top of the other. Or maybe just one gnome bhallspawn on stilts.

-Anyone- Can be the lord of murder. They need only to depose the last lord of murder (eg cyric who killed bhaal then ascended to the post) also, whomever said it was right. Your character was raised secluded in Candlekeep up until the point where Gorion was killed, so they could be -any- race and -any- class by virtue of the free learning allowed in the institution and the secluded nature not allowing for racism. Also I think the sorcerer blood would come from the mother on account of the bhaalblood not even stirring till halfway through the first game. I for one think Mage most likely based upon your reverence for your magi "father" and as I said earlier race is up for grabs.

[IMG] Or maybe all deities look tall and impressive, never minding the race!
    Like a mad, bloodthirsty gnome!
