Found this on a whim after watching Matantei Loki Ragnarok rekindled my interest in Norse mythology:

    http://quizfarm.com/test.php?q_id=75898

I had no idea what to put for the guy questions like: 'You consider yourself a good-looking bloke' (uhh no I don't consider myself a bloke at all...-_-;; ).

Anyway I got Freya even though I put 'no' for the mother question..

A tie between Balder and Freyr, I got Freyr:

"Freyr is the god of sun and rain, and the patron of bountiful harvests. He is both god of peace and a brave warrior. He is also ruler of the elves. Freyr is the most prominent and most beautiful of the male members of the Vanir and is called 'God of the World'. After the merging of the Aesir and the Vanir, Freyr was called 'Lord of the Aesir'. Freyr was also called upon to grant a fertile marriage."

How fitting again! Does this make me the God of Love? Eat my bountiful harvest! And fertile marriages to you all! :p :rolling:

Freyr - Freyr is the god of sun and rain, and the patron of bountiful harvest. He is both a god of peace and a brave warrior. He is also the rulers of elves (!). Freyr is the most prominent and most beautiful of the male members of the Vanir, and is called « God of the world ». After the mearging of the Aesir and the Vanir, Freyr was called « Lord of the Aesir ». He was also called upon to grant a a fertile marriage.

Wow I like that !

They should have put an option like « I am a man/woman » So lads like me wouldn't have to answer questions like « You are a beautiful woman ».

@Shadow Lurker; I just replied « no » to every female-related question, I assume you did the same for any male-related?

EDIT: Njorð is the god of the sea, he's hardly a loser, unless you have some sort of anti-Vanir thing going on. Also, shadow lurker, Freya isn't a mother either :) .

    O_o Skadi... obscure much?

A giantess called the "Snow-shoe Godess" and the enbodiment of winter. She is the wife of the god Njord. When her father Thiazi was slain by the gods, Skadi wanted to take revenge. The gods thought it wiser to reconciliate and offered her a marrage with one of them. She was free to mary any god, but while she made her choice she was only allowed to see the feet of the potential candidates, She noticed a very elegant pair and, convinced that their owner was the fair got Balder. she chose them. Unfortunately for her those feet belonged to the older god Njord.

    Indeed....

I knew this one coming in. The only difference between me and Odin is that he's underhanded and I'm not. Anyway we both enjoy poetry and being down right bastards.

Bragi is the god of eloquence and poetry, it says, and thoguh I'm not a poet I write a lot in my work, so maybe it's accurate.

Yeah, the gender issue is very foggy on this one!

    First, the results:
    -- Njord 80%
-- Freyr 80% (Displayed this one for me)

Second, what Wikipedia says about them:

Njord: In Norse mythology, Njord is one of the Vanir and the god of wind, fertile land along the seacoast, as well as seamanship, sailing and fishing. The prose Edda says he has the power to calm the sea or fire. He is the husband of Skaði and father of Yngvi-Freyr and Freyja. Their mother was, according to the Heimskringla, Njord's own sister and lover. Apparently the Vanir, unlike the Æsir, had the custom of consanguineous marriage. His sister's name may also be Njord, according to the reconstruction of the name of a Teutonic goddess that Tacitus transliterated into Latin as "Nerthus" (= Njörðr). His dwelling is said to be Noatún 'Ship-town'. Njord is also a god closely associated with fertility, as are the Vanir in general.

Freyr: Freyr (sometimes anglicized Frey) is one of the most important deities in Norse paganism and Norse mythology. Worshipped as a phallic fertility god, Freyr "bestows peace and pleasure on mortals". He rules over the rain, the shining of the sun and the produce of the fields.

He is one of the Vanir, the son of the sea god Njörðr and brother of the love goddess Freyja. The gods gave him Álfheimr, the realm of the Elves, as a teething present. He rides the shining dwarf-made boar Gullinbursti and possesses the ship Skíðblaðnir which always has a favorable breeze and can be folded together and carried in a pouch when it is not being used. He has the servants Skírnir, Byggvir and Beyla.
