"Caliban's Hour" by Tad Williams. I found it in the library when I was looking for Memory, Sorrow, and Thorn. So far it's quite engrossing.

They have George R. R. Martin's trilogy here, but I don't think I should start anything quite that big when we still have so much moving-in work to be doing. It'll wait.

Heh. Memory, Sorrow and Thorn is not so small either. The last book of the trilogy (To Green Angel Tower) was so big that they split it into two thick paperbacks. So it turns out to be 4 rather large books.

    Re-reading Silmarillion.

I have such a thing for Maglor and Maedhros... *shudder*

    Maeglin, too.

I expect to spend the dull hours of school today drawing fanart...

Just finished The Fallen Fortress, book 4 of The Cleric Quintet. It was ok, but I got pulled away from it by thinking I could read just one paragraph in the first Harry Potter book....heh, read the entire thing. Then SoU arrived and had to play that....then BG called...and then and then... Anyways, about to start The Chaos Curse. (This is the longest time I've ever taken to complete one series of books!)

Hosts - F. Paul Wilson, The Last Rune (5th book in the series, I forget the actual title) - Mark Anthony, The Satanic Verses - Rushdie

I can't make up my mind which to focus on.

Also, technically, I am still reading one of the Jordan books (not the last one but the one before that) as it is on my night stand and has a bookmark in it. I doubt that I will ever re-open it, let alone finish it, so I am not sure it counts.

I know I am sick. I just know it!

I just got myself the Complete Guide to Middle-Earth. And now I am cross-referencing it with Silmarillion, LotR and the Unfinished tales! And back-translating! And doing other strange stuff for fun!

    I am obsessed.

I just spent way too much money on books. Got myself the core rulebooks for 3E (they were CHEAP!) and some paperbacks... Namely, Dissolution (War of the Spider Queen) and Refugee & Destiny's Way of the NJO:

I ws awake till 2 am -> reading last night.... :coffee: But it was worth it.

Now I will be busy for a loong time.

    *shrugs*

    Phaerun is SO cool...

I finally started reading new book, Murder in Halruaa, yesterday night. It hasn't been good, but I'm going to read it, since I paid 3 euros for it.

By the way, I realized some time ago, that I don't enjoy reading fantasy books as much I used to.

That's because there's very few good fantasy books out there. Most of it is absolute rubbish. I love the genre when done well but trying to find a good author is like trying to find a smarty at a weight watcher convention.
