    Brightside - Rest in Peace

It's the first song in a straight edge compilation I got from a friend, and I guess I just discovered the missing link between grunge era hardcore and punk music. I'm just hearing it for the first time. Veeery interesting :)

Straight edge as in sXe? Nice Ragusa.
I listen to a few straight edge bands myself, mostly Minor Threat and Limp Wrist. Good stuff.

    Today I've listened to:
Good Riddance - Symptoms of a Leveling Spirit
Refused - Songs To Fan The Flames Of Discontent

Just bought the Avenue Q soundtrack -- listened to it all day yesterday. Now I'm going around humming "The Internet is for Porn"!

My Mp3 player died, so I'm stuck listening to the scratched up CDs people leave at work. That being said...

    Metallica - Kill 'Em All
    Megadeth - Cryptic Writings
Distrubed - It's a mix of Ten Thousand Fists and Believe...and there's a sucky Mudvane song on ther for some reason...

The Zombies - The Odessey and the Oracle (yes they spelled it wrong). Nevertheless, this is one very fine recording.

Roxette - pearls of passion I really enjoyed this album. I have every other album by them, but not the first. Well, remedied that! :)

    Natural Born Killers ost.

Not worth the time spent listening to it IMO. Dissappointing, since I expected it to be far better on the basis of Lost Highway ost. Both were produced by Trent Reznor, but I guess if the movie's not that good, the soundtrack can't be amazing either...
