    Be aware that Colognians would consider it a major insult, and dropping that in a pub in Cologne could result in you getting beat up ;)

    [​IMG] As for uncivilised: Cologne was founded in 56 AD and has existed before. It developed urban prosperity at a time when bavarians were just getting familiar with the thought to make clothes out of furs - a tradition they still hold up :p

    And indeed, somehow they learned to brew some kind of beer :p - they are pretty inventive :D

    Dusseldorf has never been much more than a fisher village in he shadow of colognes cathedral :rolleyes: . They have electric light now, don´t they?
