    Ok, done that, got a shot as the reply was being typed and after I had "received" it, now what?

    Upload the pic to something like tinypic(no sign up required) and post a link to it here.

    Just to make sure I understand right, you can send messages fine, but received messages don't show up at all, bar the "last messaged received" time.

    Try to select the inside of the incoming text area with your mouse... is there anything there? I guess it is marginally possible that all your incoming text is white so it's not showing on white background...

    Tried that, nothing showed up...anyway, I've decided to go with Windows Live IM for now, got all my Yahoo IM contacts on there and it's working fine...but thanks for your help all! :thumb:
