I had a Ball Python that popped me twice. I was stupid enough to put my hand in the cage after I put the rat in

Last week I was vacationing in Prince Edward Island. I stupidly went out to watch the sunset without bug repellent. Now I have about 30 bites on my body. It's not pretty.

My worst injury is from a peacock that panicked. I was checking the bird's tailfeather shafts for infection, and one of his spurs cught me right at the knee. Ouch.
I've forgotten the number of scuffles I've had with cats, chickens, geese, and turkeys.

My worst wild animal encounter was a close call with a panther. Luckily, I think she had kits nearby, because she wasn't inclined to pursue when I ran.

I was attacked by a duck when I was four. I got too close to its nest and it went berserk. My knees are covered with scars. Those little buggers have nasty beaks!
