    Personally, mine is the day after Thanksgiving - it is the one day of the year that I am guaranteed to sleep in really late with no interruptions.

    All holidays pale in comparison with the opportunity for uninhibited late-sleeping!

    The first Saturday in May. I normally work seven days a week from the beginning of March to the end of April and it is really nice to finally have a day off.

    University move-in Day (usually a day or two before classes start) comes in a close second.

    It's christmas. It's cold outside, hopefully snowing, and there's a sort of mystical, peaceful atmosphere when everyone's away or spending their time peacefully at home. It's the only day when my family and friends get together. It's also after a short vacation from work, and just behind it comes more vacation until the new year.

    All in all, it's got the best sides of every day in the year save for the warm sun, and the bad sides of none.
