    Hypothetical serious question. You wake up one day and you've been permanently banned for no reason what so ever.

    The people in charge banned you because they know you like this forum. Because they hate you. What would you do? After all the time, energy and effort you put into this forum and site?

    Heh; I had almost exactly that dream just a few weeks ago. A mod I'd never even heard of banned me for unknown reasons. I'm generally not a jerk unless somebody is asking for it and I've never had a real argument with anyone here so I couldn't imagine why. I was debating what to do about it. Should I create a new account and ask and hope to get it overturned? What if the mod decided I was being a real jerk for making another account and then banned my IP? Did losing access to this site really matter to me enough to care?

    Interesting question. If I was banned I'd be PMing dragons and stuff until I was unbanned. Besides you guys would miss me too much - I couldn't handle having you guys in that kind of pain.

    I'd want to know why and try to appeal.
    Out of curiosity, was this brought about because of something that happened on either Space Battles or Dark Lord Potter? Possibly Sufficient Velocity? Those two boards, especially SB have a bit of a reputation for unjust bans. Although with a name like DLP, it should be expected.
