I just started the original Starcraft. I've never played it.
I also never realized how much Warhammer 40K: Dawn of War ripped off the game. It's practically a clone.

Are you saying you'd rather have hell on Earth? Sounds suspicious...

Dawn of War is more like Company of Heroes, with the control points and such. Also, the setting in Starcraft ripped of the Warhammer 40K setting pretty big time (Terrans = Space marines, Zerg = Tyranids).

I haven't played or even heard of "Company of Heroes", so I can't compare.
However, I should say that my impression of the basic marines in Starcraft is more like that of Imperial Guardsmen then Space Marines.

They look like space marines, anyway. They maybe don't die as hard as space marines, perhaps, so maybe guardsmen? I guess they took from both.

So basically like the Bolter Bitches? Equipment of a space marine with the stats of a guardsman?

I guess so, I'm not too well versed in the WH 40K universe. The problem I have with Warhammer 40K is that it's kind of cool, but also utterly, totally, and completely retarded.

I don't know much, I've played "Dawn of War", and somebody suggested I read "The Weaver Option" and they were talking about a group called "Bolter Bitches" in the comments right after the last chapter I read, and I looked them up because I had no idea what they were.
I know more about Worm. I've actually read it (once, years ago).
