    At first, I was like, "wtf!? This is gonna cramp my style!"

    But then, as I got used to it, I actually came to appreciate that it contributed to the masterful storytelling in Mask of the Betrayer.

    I thought it contributed the the urgency of the situation; no taking your sweet time about things.

    It was OK for me because I don't typically rest a lot during a playthrough; I like to go as long as possible between rests.

    It was a bit of a pain just because you always had to remember to deal with it, but I think it added much more to the story than it was a pain to play with.

    I liked the mechanic, it made an already cool story and ambiance more sell-able by having it directly affect your character. I also liked how it dynamically changed the difficulty of the game based on your PC's morals.

    In contrast the OC was more like create-your-strongest-build romp.
