Sometimes you can sit for half an age, lovingly clicking that button to reroll stats, waiting for the optimal number of points to spend on this and that, tweaking your personal little bhaalspawn to utter perfection and... more often than not you're better off with a combat monkey build. It's not like Baldurs Gate is like Torment after all, why bother with charisma when you can wear that handy ring when you need to? Why spend points on intelligence and wisdom when you can quaff a potion or two before attempting it? Why can't you test stats 'on the fly'?

Why can't you intimidate, beguile or outwit your companions? You're the child of a god - a creature of murder where each game you play you can have stats ranging from puny to ultimate yet every companion, every chance encounter, every follower and devoted friend does not respond to your strength, your intensity, nothing. The NPCs are almost bland in their responce to you. You play a warrior who can barely lift a greatsword, nobody comments.

I'd likt to incorporate trickery, statistic based interaction, possibly revenge based on whether an NPC thinks they can take you. NPCs that question you on certain aspects if they believe themselves superior. Instances where their superiority leads to pride and downfall.

So many people look to other mods and for more reaction and feeling in their party as the fifteenth time through the game leads to the same responces, time and again - something that could be avoided by shaking up perceptions, acceptance, race, class, strength, smarts, clumsiness. Anything. Just RESPOND. How many times have you played with the same party, with different characters and met the same conversations, outcomes, altercations. Why can't it be different now and again?

Maybe it could be something to look into.
