Unshey's Belt

    Is there a way of completing her quest for the Girdle of Missiles without killing her? Also, can you remove the cursed belt from the Ogre for XP or something? Kinda like you do with Brag.

    You kill the Ogre to get the Belt, then you can complete the quest by delivering it to Unshey. But no, you can't steal it back from Unshey, you can only recover it by killing her ... which you might do if you're playing Evil, but probably not otherwise. However, since it's a rather useful belt, and since there's no time limit on Unshey's quest, you can hang on to it for quite a while and eventually deliver it to Unshey at some later stage of the game.
    As for the other Belt, the cursed one, no, you just take it as well as the other one when you kill the Ogre, and eventually sell it for gold ... unless you actually have someone in the party whom you'd like to play as the other sex, of course!

    Give it to Edwin, then transfer your character and see if she's still fixed by the time BG2 comes around and if the Nether Scrolls turn him back.
