Today is one of those days
Opening my eyes to a random song on my clock radio. Body shaky and feeling like an empty shell while I go through the process of waking up. The rain outside is ok because there is no pressure to adapt to its disposition. The heaviness is ok because at least I breath.
There was a pool of water in my basement a few days ago. Just like the one I found a few weeks ago. Some boxes of photos and books that I care about have been soaked. I will not check them. I think the pipe that leads outside to my garden is broken somewhere. If I water my plants again there will be a price to pay. But I don't have to worry about that today. Because it is raining.
I will leave the house soon. Go on the bus. Sit in the back with the hoodlems and and the silent ones and the wannabes. Misfits don't scare me. My armor is visible enough. The seats at the very back are my choice because I can watch everyone from there. Only a few people can watch me, but none of them can see me. Outside the window the world passes. If I sped it up it would just be a blur of lights around me.
