    I had a few questions..
aside from only hearing great things..
I was wondering if you might be able to help a lady out with a few questions?

    1. How does multiplayer work?? Can I used my single player character? or do I make a character for it? and what types of multiplayer games can be played?? Can you play the orignal game?? or just the modules?? ...so confused..

    2. If I'm gonna make an elf what would be the best class/weapons/etc.

    3. Anyone "big-strong-men" *laughs*...or women..wanna help me get started when I get it??

Multiplayer involved connecting to a host server and playing whatever module is running on that server. It could be the basic campaign, a public module, or something designed by the server's owner. You can find the servers either with the Gamespy client included in NWN or (a better option) by going to the neverwinter connections website.

Whether you can use your single player character or need to make a new one depends on the settings of the server you play on. Some allow outside characters, some don't.

Elves are good at any class or weapon combination. Because they have high dexterity, they are particularly good at bows and dex based weapons like rapiers (with the Weapon Finesse feat). Elves are allowed to use bows and rapiers regardless of what character class they are.

I'm sure you will find plenty of people at Neverwinter Connections to help out when you first starting playing.

It would probably only be available on that server, though you might be able to make a local copy (haven't tried). If so, you could then go to another server with that character, if that server allows outside characters.

Yes, you will get a local copy that can be taken with you. At least, in my experience it did.
