    Second wasnt happy with Sadi's arrangement. He wanted the Palace triad to accompany them too.

    When the Dark Hand's forces attacked just the two of them would never be enough. After all, he needed enough reserve strength after defeating the foes to wrest the stave for the Temple of the Order.

    Finally he had to make the palace triad go ahead of them into the neighbouring countryside. They would shadow them till the goblin attack, after which no one could have any objection to them being part of the travelling party.

    Rallymama!!! Where to from here?

    @Oaz, damm right!
    Anyone else feel that a new Chapter should be started? This one is very long and offputting for someone who wants to contribute but feels like they have to read it all first (for there contribution to make a lot of sense).

    Nextly (ok it's not a word but :heh: ) Ancalimon appears to have abondoned both the Stave and the SP boards, he hasn't been around since July (his last post was, ironically, a Stave one). Therefore I think Rally should be head Stavey.

    Oy. Serves me right, I suppose, for letting this story capture my imagination. :rolleyes: Oh well, this'll be a perfect opportunity to chage from Stave (being one of the uprights that compose a barrel) to Staff (being a stick-like weapon or walking-aid).

    Give me a day or so to write up a summary, start a new thread, and put out one more call for participants in Whatnots. In the meantime, put on your thinking caps and try to bring in (or back - hinthinthint, Oaz... I know you're out there...) some new folks.

    Whee! :roll:

    Nah, I haven't the time; maybe I'll guest-write a little bit every now and then, but nothing on a regular basis. And just a thought, if you do start a new thread, be sure to include a summary. Four pages is frightening.
