    I don't think Fever Pitch could have been a remake, mean machine is American Football with Scot Bakula (at least the one I know), Possibly bend it like Beckam, but I'm not sure what it was remade from.

    My guess is Escape to Victory (I had to check the name, but I haven't checked the quote) with Pele as a remake of the Great Escape.

    Actually 'Mean machine' is an english football (or soccer) movie with vinnie jones and jason stathem. It's a remake and there's a bob playing in it. So I'd be pretty surprised if it wouldn't be MM

    @enagonius

    Sure it was amusing but it didn't compare to Snatch or Lock Stock and two smoking barrels. The footbal part was great though especially with Jason Stathem foul play :D

    You saw snatch and Mean machine but you didn't see lock stock. Guy ritchie's first and arguably his best. Also starring Statham and Jones. Better than Snatch IMHO
