    [IMG] ***THE PERFECT CHARACTER HAS TO HAVE MAGE SPELLS***

    I don't know if I'm right in saying this, but if I am you MUST have mage spells.

    I don't know what is considered ethical or morally corect, but with ALL my characters I just sit around for a few hours and give my new character thousands of hit points when I first make them.

    Here's how: First, start a new game in the expansion. Memorize ONLY find familiar. Then cast find familiar, but keep the little bugger out of your inventory. If you look at your hit points you'll notice that they have gone up by about 20 or 30. After that I export my character and start a new game. The familiar is gone, but the hit points are still there. Cast find familiar again, export, new game, find familiar, export, new game, ET CETERA INDEFINATELY.

    If this is considered cheating, or hacking, or it doesnt work, or I have a bug or it's just plain wrong by any of you other BG2 fans out there, tell me so... I'm interested.

    IF I AM RIGHT IN ALL OF THE ABOVE, THE PERFECT CHARACTER MUST HAVE MAGE SPELLS (mulitclass, dualclass, bard, mage, sorc)

    Err you posted about this. By your reasoning however, what the perfect character really needs is.... Shadowkeeper! Yay, I can get more HP than you could dream of, drop my THACO enough so that I hit regardless of any roll on any AC unless its a critical miss, get 10 level 9 spells, 500 in each theif skill category, saving throws in the -50's AC in the -90's and of course 10 attacks per round. What else do I want to throw in? Priest spells? Sure! 25 in each stat? No problem! Maybe I'll even add in some special abilities to boot! How about time stop as an innate ability? Might as well get improved altric as well. Better jack up the number of whirlwinds I have to 50, some spike traps might be nice to. Have I missed anything?

    Basically yes, I consider that complete and utter cheating, but if your in SP I really could care less.

    @StrifeStrike
    100% resistance to everything.

    I think the discussion was about the best legitimate characters. Either way though, the best character is what you enjoy playing the most.
