    I think that the list is only another thing that gives those people more power to fuel their postings. And makes the under dogs get mad and want to beat them. Seems weird.

    Half the stuff I post people wont even read.

    [IMG] Headbanger is right on the money. Who cares about the number of posts you have. I rather have a lot less spam and fewer posts any day. Then at least I know that I'm not going to waste my time reading junk. Remember the stupid 'Random topic' spam fest that crashed the boards a while back. It's still like that which drives up peoples post count but doesn't ADD anything of value to the boards. Are we not here to help each other out, have an intellegent comversation and share in a way that is enjoyable for everyone? I think we do this rather well. And we are better off with 3,000 or even 300 users that add value to SP. Who needs 90,000 user if you only get trash out at the end of the day.

    OK I'm done ranting now. :)

    I guess you should have at least about 800 posts to make it in the top 25. The last the I saw the list, number 25 had about 800 posts. So, just about one hundred posts for me to go and I will officialy be a spammer.

    [IMG] Why BG2 is.

    (You never specified who, who is in the topic :p )

    Out of whismy I decided to do a few quick calculations, and here are the results.

    With 141,088 posts this is where the forums stand concerning # of posts (rounded):

    NWN -> 4.28% (Look out BG2, NWN is coming after you -- eventually)
    NWN Toolset -> .33% (off to a good start, will increase in time IMHO)
    TOB -> 8.38% (eat this IWD II, let's see what you can do)
    BG2 -> 36.3% (the mac daddy)
    IWD II -> .52% (just realeased and almost already past POR2 :lol: )
    BG -> 5.17% (oldie but goldie)
    IWD -> 3.41% (I bow down to BG)
    PT -> 1.96% (Yeah yeah, numbers aren't everything)
    POR2 -> .57% (And then again, maybe they are)
    Playground -> 2.75% (How long before I overcome IWD?)
    Whatnots -> 27.67% (Your powers are weak BG2, soon I will be the master)
    SS -> .1% (Hey no fair, I'm just a babe)
    Books -> 1.46% (Not bad for a gaming forum)
    CS -> 2.13% (The Creativty Surge rocking the house steadily)
    RC -> 2.61% (The illustrious Role Play Corner, keeping it steady)
    D&D -> 2.23% (Discuss me!)
    Phlan Crier -> .12% (Erran's the man with a Phlan)
    AORTA -> .33% (the little guy)

    Nice one Big B :)

    Hmm ... just because someone posts alot doesn't mean that they spam. They could make alot of quality posts ... I wonder if that applies for me?
