    Really didn't think this would be too difficult.
    OK, the lead character isn't allowed to fight back because his "love" asks him not to, and as a little twist she's engaged to the chap who dies.

    OK, another scene. Lead charater is sat at a table, a young girl removes his shoes, runs away, ties the laces together and throws the shoes over a high-level line.

    It's funny, I remembered the second scene straight away, but have no memory of the first one. No matter.

    A teenager stabs a serial killer with two syringes full of tranquilliser before getting slashed in two.

    wow, never even saw the movie, just heard about the scene from my brother :p

    hmm, didn't expect to get that one, so i'll have to choose a softy off the top of my head..

    a guy kneels down in front of two bigger guys and stabs them in the balls

    since it's xmas, here're some hints :p

    the 2 guys in question unzipped their pants and were expecting the guy kneeling down to do something other than stab them in the jewels. This scene takes place in prison, in a "version" of the protagonist (guy kneeling)'s life. There's a hint within a hint there, quite a big one :)

    A man standing on top of a speeding train through a winter wonderland. He is leaning heavily into the wind and his arms are spread out as if waiting to embrace someone.

    Edit: No takers yet. The film was shot in Alaska and has some of the most beautiful scenery shots -- including the scene described above, which is the last you see of the main character.
