    Nope, proving way harder than I thought. Even when this film is tragic. I'll post another scene from the film, and if that doesn't help the next hint will be a giveaway to anyone that has some idea.
    OK, there is the most popular guy in the school walking down a corridor, and as he has girls from off screen throwing their underwear at him. And then someone else throws some which kills his smile. It's a jock strap.

    In a contest, a larger man throws a disk near some rocks a long distance across water. A smaller man skips his disk across the channel and onto the rocks -- winning the contest.

    Hint: The smaller man is trying to prove his worth. By beating the larger man's throw he secures his spot in the adventure.
