    [IMG] Hey,
I have just started a Kensai, with the ambition to dual to a mage soon(ish). I have three in two weapon style, two in Katana, and 1 in Hammer. Can you think of anymore ways to make this character anymore overpowered? :) I was wandering what level to dual at, and also what hammer to use until the Crom Faeyr...

You should dual over to a thief, not a mage! A kensai/thief is very awesome at the higher levels, as you will have a kensai that can wear armor using the Use Any Item ability of the thief! If you have Throne of Bhaal. :(

I don't know a thing about dualing, since I have never actually tried it. But I'm currently playing with a fighter/mage/thief solo and the thief backstabbing ability rocks! Besides, I've always felt I could live without a spellcaster, but not without a thief.

You don't have many choices for hammer: maybe the one in De'Arnise Keep , or a +2 hammer from the merchants. You could use a second katana (Malakar +2).

If you want tips on kensai/mages you should do a search, there you will find the most overpowered character without question as it has been discussed from every angle :)

Both Kensai/mage and Kensai/Thief is very poerful, though you should not create a character to win as easy as possible but to have fun. I got a Silver dragon character -99 Ac -149 Thac0, all resistans -1 (you gain life) cone of cold, level drain breath, powerfull spells and abilities etc. Shes fun to use to kick ass when Iam booring, though its not fun to play overpowered ingame..

Even though I like a pure kensai better, the kensai/mage is very powerful too (kensai with stoneskin...). The best level to dual inwould be either 9 or 12, since you get a profiency those levels.

Use a cheat utility (such as Shadow Keeper) to set all stats to 25, armour class to -20, all saves to 1, THAC0 to -20 (you only miss if it`s critical) and equip with Celestial Fury in the offhand (CF+5 if you have Item Upgrade); and memorise ALOT of Melfs Minute Meteors and Hastes.
Save, go back into the game... cast Melfs Minute Meteors; now all of a sudden you have burning chunks of rock in your main hand; and your offhand weapon becomes a boomerang. Now cast haste.
You have 5 attacks per round because of the Meteors, plus one because of the haste. Those attacks go in this order:
    Meteor
    Meteor
    Off-Hand Weapon
    Meteor
    Meteor
    Off-Hand Weapon

The offhand weapon (doesn`t *have* to be CF, that`s just an example :) ) still works as it normally would, save the fact that it is ranged and returns to you; so any bonuses you have with it will still apply.
Meaning that you get the bonuses because you specialise in that weapon type; AND it still counts as dual-wield.

If that isn`t overpowered, I don`t know what is :D

    EDIT:
    Or dualwield killsw01 and stdeath...
