[IMG] Okay, here are my thoughts on BGII. I do not especially like the new portraits, nor do I dislike them either (I really liked the IWD portraits). I am actually disappointed in the graphics, I was hoping for drasticly changed character models and better looking paper dolls in the inventory screen. Im sick the same 3 types of helmut looks really. Other then that the screen shots look very promising. The background look wonderfull as they have been in BG and especially IWD, the monsters look good (Beholder!). So it shall not be anything drastic as I was really wishing deep down inside, but I think the story will be great and the game will be fun and will suck me in just as a good book would! The only thing on my wish list if they make a BGII or an IWDII is making an infinity engine 2. With dynamic backgrounds, fully rotatable screen, possibly a zoom mode!?!?! That would be great... what do you think???

I think the makers of the thing (Bioware?) don't want to alienate the existing set o' fans by putting in spinney whizzy 3D engine. And it probably wouldn't run on my PII 233, so sod it.

If you want fancy 3D, rotating screens and such, wait a couple of months more until Neverwinter Nights comes out. Ciller, it sounds like you haven't heard of Neverwinter yet, perhaps you should check it out. It's by the same company, Bioware. Heck, there is even a message board here for it, but recently the board has been pretty dead.
