Lisa: Promise me you'll never die.
Gary Johnston: You know I can't promise that.
Lisa: If you did that, I would make love to you right now.
Gary Johnston: I promise I'll never die.

I'm not. But I like Purple Rain.

Just saw Time Bandits again. That movie is always good for a laugh.

I just got back from the movies. I went to see 'Men who stare at goats'. The movie was not bad! A lot of funny lines and situations. I thought the premise was really goods, but the plot was a little weak.

At least there were many good actors! :)

Just watched Ghost in the Shell and Jesus Camp.

GitS was pretty good, the fight with the tank was really well done.

Jesus Camp was... holy christ, I didn't realize how fanatic evangelicals were (or that there are 80 million evangelicals in the US.)

Just watched OSS 117: Rio ne répond plus (OSS 117 Lost in Rio) it wasn't as good as the first one with Dujardin OSS 117: Le Caire nid d'espions (OSS 117 Cairo, Nest of Spies).

I don't know if you get to see many French movies on the other side of the pond but I really liked À l'origine, it's in theatres now and it's quite good (if you're into French movies of course).

Triactus, those lines you quoted were easily the best lines in that movie. In fact those are the only lines I actually remember apart from that shocking blowjob bit towards the end, lol.

I didn't like "There will be blood" because I walked into it with wrong expectations. Not seeing the trailer or reading anything about it, I assumed it had some kind of gangland theme. 40mins into the movie and I'm wondering when this comes into play

Saw Rescue Dawn but didn't finish it since I couldn't quite get into it. Rewatched the Bookdock Saints in preparation for the sequel. Good stuff.

Boondock Saints is cult. Very good. :)

Just saw Little Man Tate again. That movie does put me in a good mood.

The Big Empty. Started out okay and then suddenly it was the ending already and my roommate and I were "WTF"? Also saw The Ex/Fast Track. It was pretty funny. It was good to see Jason Bateman PLAY an @$$hole after being the only decent character on Arrested Development. He was hilarious as the obnoxious guy, I wanted to wring his neck.

    Saw Edison yesterday.

    Surprisingly good.

Justin Timberlake is not a bad actor, IMO.

I saw Religulous tonight. It was a funny movie, I laughed at a couple of places. However, it's clearly a comedic statement of opinion and not a documentary (and shouldn't be taken as such).

I saw Serving Sara yesterday. Actually pretty funny.

Also saw American Psycho again. Damn... Christian Bale is a good actor. He is chilling in that movie.

I watched Ip Man recently. Probably the best action movie I have seen this year. Highly recommended.

    Die Hard 4.0

9th Company (9 Rota) - A Russian war-flick about the Soviet Union's war in Afganistan. Brutal, as expected. Surprisingly good.

    Watched Eragon today

I liked it, but I probably wouldn't if I've read the book.

People who has seems very disappointed. Seems like a lot of the plot was dropped.
