    I was wondering if my 3-year old would remember that today is my birthday. He did, although not in the exact way that I thought he would. He didn't actually say "Happy Birthday". He said, "You're 37 today, right Daddy?" And I said I was. Then he asked me, "How did you get to be so old?" *sigh* He then went on to tell me I should feel too old because I wasn't "all the way bald" and that I still had "some hair left". *sigh*

    At what age does a filter develop between your brain and mouth?

    On a somewhat related note, today is Sir Bel's B-Day as well! (He's even older than me.)

    Based on my 21 year old son ... the filter never kicks in when your own children are around you. They only use it around others.
