I wonder about Korgan's "recover the Book of Kaza" quest, but I don't want any evil character in my party. Can I do this quest without Korgan in my party? And what is that book about?

No, you can only do the quest with Korgan in your party. The book is just a piece of nothing that you can sell for around 1100 I believe.

The book is about nothing. You just have to sell it after its retrieval to gain some money. You really need Korgan in your party to accomplish the quest. You just have to dump him out of your party when you finish the quest.

You can actually go through the entire catacombs and tomb without Korgan first. So much XP just for you. Then pick him up and return to find a few new skeletons in the tomb. When you deal with his former adventuring brothers Korgan's quest is over.
Thus you need to keep Korgan for only the shortest time.

The book of Kaza is of no use and can be sold for 1350gp. I think thats a set price for it didnt matter what my shoppers charisma was.

But you do get to kick the butts of some evil thugs..... Worth it for the short time you have Korgan IMO.

yeah, but even the thugs were pretty useless oponents that iirc didn't give out anything special on their corpses. but its a moot point with me, as i usually enjoy having korgan in my party
