    This is a mock commercial put on by our local Winnipeg Humane Society; our various animal shelters (including the HS) are running short on space for cats, and they're trying to find homes for them.

    A bit of background might be useful. The guy in the video is Andy Hill; his father (Nick Hill) owned a local furtiture store, and was famous in Winnipeg for doing so-lame-they're-funny commercials, always using the slogan “come on down” (usually more than once in a commercial). Nick died awhile ago, and Andy took over the reigns (including the lame commercials). My impression of Andy (strictly from the commercials) was that he is a goof, but after seeing this, I think he’s a goof who doesn’t mind poking a bit of fun at himself. So now I like him. :)

    Same. I had my whole family huddled around my laptop (my wife and my 7 and 3 year old sons). We were all cringing on the jumps, and trying to move out of the the dog's way. It was fun.

    Even my unborn son was jumping around inside my wife, but who the hell really knows why! :p
