Ara's back in Finland and/or in SP. All's well in the Kingdom. Welcome back. *hugsies*

 

I've sort of come back. Thing with me is that I never really intend to leave, then I just sort of stop coming here without realizing it. Happens every once in a while to me for some reason. Hopefully I can manage to stay a bit better this time.

So to pretty much everyone who joined in the past year or so, hello! And hello again to all my old friends, as well.

 

I got back from Pittsburgh yesterday. It was a cool city with nice Hooka cafe's (wish N.Ireland had some) all you can eat buffets, unlimited refills of filter coffees, Dinners that are open all night long, cheap sushi and lots of deer running around residential areas. I even found 2 US beers which were nice - Brooklyn Lager and a beer I forget by Iron City.

There were a few strange things, such as Guinness being pasteurized (which explains the nasty taste over there), Irish pubs that label English foods such as 'bangers and mash', and Cornish Pasties' as 'traditional' Irish foods and the tons of white guys pretending they are black.

That's exactly how I found America, too. Although I never found a beer anything approaching nice. Those Americans are really missing out there!

 

Well, I don't know about the U.S, but here in Quebec, we have more than a few microbreweries that make some splendid beer. Hell, one of them makes a stout that easily equals (and surpasses) the almighty Guiness (that's no small feat). But the majorities of beers from major breweries is cat piss, yeah.

Hello all, I'm back after a 2 month absence. I was away on military duty. I had web access but not to sites like this, all work only.

Well hello again everybody, although I'm not sure if it's my place to say things like this since I've never properly left...

But in any case, welcome back Nakia! And everybody else as well...

Edit: Oh yeah, the point of this was that now that I'm on holiday, I'll just pop in here a little more often if possible, and that gives me a perfect excuse to visit the local libraries almost every day!

 

Heh, am I qualified to be posting in here...? Been gone around err...since October...? However I haven't fully 'returned' to being online yet so this is kinda like a drop in? Hopefully I'll be getting better internet soon so I can use the internet more often!
