    [​IMG] History is a great place to find "did you know's"

    Did you know that during World War II the Japanese attacked the U.S. mainland at least three times:

    1. A submarine fire 20 shells at an oil refinery in Santa Barbara, California

    2. A seaplane dropped incendiary bombs over the forests of Oregon (trying to start fires)

    3. At least 285 balloons were launched from Japan, carrying bombs, to follow the jet stream and land on the west coast (one actually made it as far as Michigan)

    All of these incidents were squelched by the Office of Censorship!
