Some, very few do however. It is very rare for one to have this mystical thing called a brain as intelligence is frowned upon.

Teenage boys/girls do not have any brains. In fact, the upper portition of their heads would be completely flat if not filled with hormones. If you thump hard enough, you can actually hear a distant echo...

*Below* Foradasthar, ditto; do you happen to have some mind reading abilities?

    Taza... :shake:

[IMG] And you don't have brains ever, Virne. Not when you were a teenager, not now and nowhere in the future.

Teenagers in general are a real annoying bunch. I can't imagine how my parents ever suffered to see me grow to age. The sex is irrelevant, as they both have some real bad sides to them. Girls are such duplicate images of eachother that sometimes you almost have to stop and think "does this being here have any sense of own identity at all?", while boys seem to actually override the survival-instinct that's supposed to be found in their genes by defying everything and everywhere just for the sake of being able to stand up to something, anything. Of course there are always exceptions. And of course this is all completely normal, I was no better myself at that age, even if I have always been quite different from normal people.

The really frustrating thing about this is that nowadays these teens don't even know to fear adults without being given examples. All the stupid partying and screaming and other juvenile massbehaviour without any regard to the feelings of others can far too easily stir the raged animal inside me. Also, I play in a clan in Starsiege: Tribes. And through that game I've clearly come to understand why the most successful clans in many other games have put an age limit to their memberlist. You wouldn't believe the difference in how a 20-years old and a 15-years old behave in a stress situation.

Sorry about the ranting, just had a bit worse than average case with another teen so I needed to say this. Talking rationally with a teen is as impossible as trying to come to an agreement with a 80-years old senile over matters concerning computer technology.

In my experience (5 years as a High School teacher, and of course my time as a teenager as well) BOTH genders tend to lose their brainpower from about the ages of 13 to 17. The idea that it's only boys who are sex-crazed is a myth. Girls lose themselves in sex and body image issues just as boys lose themselves to sex and, well, whatever else they lose themselves in.

There are a few exceptions, and most of them tend to be literate and enjoy reading -- see my posts in Booktalk -- so most of the people here are safe enough from the Age of Stupidity, as I and my colleages(sic) tend to put it.

Boys and Girls are equally blessed with brains/no brains. And both are puppets on a string, played by their hormons.

They only difference is, girls are more patient and plan ahead. They plan how to wrap someone around their finger, wheras boys can't wait to be wrapped around any finger.

Teenage boys technically have brains, but it's some other part of body that rules their nervous system. Actually two little parts of body.

But teenage girls aren't any better. Just watch them as I'm passing through my former highschool.

Of course, whenever someone declares that only a fraction or percent of boys have brains, we should automatically assume that he is in that fration of percentage, or used to be. ;) :p

I haven't cracked open a teenager's brain, but I'll bet Eze has, so I'll take her word for it.
