technical help needed - please!

    The game closes everytime i leave Nashkel or go into the general store and I dont get any error messages. Is this to do with the disc or the game and can I get it fixed?

    I have the problem from time to time. Usually, when I restart the computer and game it goes away. Sometimes, I have to restart using an earlier saved game and then it works. Have you tried that? Or is that that regardless of what you do, the game ALWAYS crashes. It could be a CD problem the. Though I'm not too sure how you can confirm that....

    I would get that problem a lot. Seems to be some sort of timeout issue when the game requires files from the CD and they don't get there fast enough and it boots you, no error message, nothing. Normally i just start the game and load my latest game and try it again. However if it only occurs with Nashkel it may be the CD or it may be with the CD-Rom. I have found with other games that some CD-Roms spin too fast for them to be read, in those cases I've burned copies and they worked flawlessly. If restarting the game and reloading the CD does not work, check the disk to see if there are any noticable scratches. Also you could try a full install to avoid the CD-shuffle or try using burned copies. Other options would be to contact tech support but they will need to know all the specs of your PC, check page 7 of the game manual.
