Does anyone know any good cheats/trainers that work? or any good mods or tips? I am starting it again with a lower difficulty because I don't like the controls. How did you guys like this game?

I liked the game, but yeah, it feels like the controls were intended for a controller rather than a keyboard and mouse. It's not that difficult, as I remember, though you may need to figure out a workable strategy for yourself.

There are mods at the NEXUS which give more talents per level, remove weight from items, and on a quick glance, I find a guide to using a so-called CheatEngine, which may be what you're looking for.

Ah, there's a Godmode mod as well. Not actually god mode, but long duration Quen (damage reduction), extra damage, that sort of thing.

The full combat overhaul mod changes quite a lot. Including skill trees and such. I wouldn't recommend such for a first playthrough.
