Yesterday at work, I had a stack of CPUs on a cart with a box of DIMMs on top while a co-worker was heading in the opposite direction with a stack of printers. He accidentally struck my cart, causing the box of memory to tip over and dump its contents on the floor, spilling DIMMs everywhere. It was not fun picking them back up and sorting them again.

Was that an example of a memory dump generated by a stack collision?

Since you run a board, I think you'll appreciate this tale from a while ago.
Over the Holidays I was at a relative's house. They had a fire in the fireplace going, and it almost died out while we were eating dinner. I was asked if I could put another log onto the fire before it died completely. Unfortunately when I dropped it on top of the fire, it snuffed out the flame.

I believe that was a classic example of a failed log on.
