    ehm... you think like d6 fire damage per caster level and stuff?

    If you are then of course it is dependant on the class level. wizard2/cleric48 casting burning hands does same damage as wizard2/cleric 0.
    I think even sorcerer and wizard are considered a different type of casters eventhough they can cast the same spell.
