SRV reminds me of my Saturday nights from years ago. Always great for a wee bit of nostalgia.

    Anyway something different:

"Hurricanes will wipe out the dynasty of Kron
The chains of steel can't hold the holy storm"

    Correct

Don't you think its strange that Luca Turilli goes on a solo venture, and creates music similar to his main band? But no harm done, as its all excellent of course.

Sorry, I'm not familiar with his sub/solo project.
    As through your shattered eyes
    It all came together
    And your heart cries
    Weeping through the weather
Another way to change your mind
    I'm weaker than they say
    To leave this all behind
    The only way to stay

Luca Turilli's side project band is named, handily, Luca Turilli. They have two albums, one of which is pretty much Rhapsody, the other is Rhapsody with the classical influences ripped out and replaced by techno.

Yes a hint would be good, Undertaker. BTW if you like Rhapsody, you should really check out Luca, especially the 'Nordic Twilight' album, its excellent.

-one of their guest members was Mikael Åkerfeldt(but not on this song)

I think I know the band, but I have no idea of the song. As far as doom goes, I prefer Primordial.

Saw You Drown by Katatonia. Mikeal was great on Brave Murder Day, which is probably one of my favourit albums ever.

Did you know WoTW that Katatonia and Primirdial did a split single a long time ago? Oh you did...

"Humanity what have you ever done for me?

Denounced and cursed since my birth for I am not like thee"

I love these 2 lines, it gets the adrenaline pumping.

I do believe that it's I Am Vengeance by Naglfar.
You know that there is another Naglfar band but they only have few demo tapes released.

    Correct.

I have a mixed Nagelfar, CD, who are based in Germany. Their earlier stuff is quite folkey, but the more I progress into the CD, the more brutal and electronic they become. Maybe its the same band you mention? I got it from a friend in Germany, and while I think they are good, I prefer the Swedish band better.

The one I mentioned was from Norway.

    Taking a chance
    And take what you gain
My soul it has no price
Total release is out of harms way until I can decide
You punish me, can't you see, I'm not real

I may have missed the Rhapsody quote (Damn!) But anyway, if you guys like Rhapsody, then try Symphony X. Especially the Divine Wings of Tragedy album.

I agree. Of Sins and Shadows is a very good song. It is also amusing to let someone start listening to The Oddysey, when they have no idea how long it is. It almost compares with Achilles, the Agony and the Ecstasy in 8 parts for that "It's how long?!" feeling.

    Hints:
    -English band
-they lineup (exept for the drummer) hasn't change since 1987
    -lead guitarist is left handed
-the album from which is this song has the same title like their later song from other album.
