Someone tell me the official date of release for NWN

    [​IMG] Hmm, I spotted on the official boards today that some Bio-dude said around June 26 is a good date to bet on.

    This player client beta test will obviously be very limited and they obviously don't expect any serious bugs either, otherwise they wouldn't be making plans for release two weeks after beta testing starts...

    Btw Mike Smith, if you read previous posts in this thread you'll see that all release dates posted by stores (of any kind, anywhere) are guesses by the publisher, since the developers (i.e. BioWare) didn't give them any set release date. Not till the end, which is now, but now they released a date to the public and, of course, the stores will pick it up too. But anything they had before was pure guessing.

    Hmm. 26... that's painful... I go on holiday for 3 weeks.... on 8 july.... at the time I have NWN I'm leaving.... :) THink I have to cancel the holiday :)

    Well I go at least to the internet/game-cafe here, they have all games before they ar ein the shops.... they organize a NWN night when they have the game, playing NWN online a whole night....

    Sorry T,

    I did read the posts on the thread, but I was sssuming you meant that the stores themselves made the dates up, rather than the publishers.

    I do agree that the publishers/distributors use optimistic dates .. but at least they are getting the information and ballparks from the devs themselves.

    Stores on the other hand, if they were making those up themselves .. well.. heh heh.

    [​IMG] you won't be able to import any characters from any other games to NWN because your char. won't have all its stats, just the name. moderators...correct me if im wrong.
