[solved] How to have Nalia rejoin when she is invisible?

    [​IMG] Hi all, first message here, because it's the first time I get really stuck with no obvious solution.

    I dumped Nalia for a while, and asked her to wait for me at the Copper Coronet. She was wearing the staff of the Magi, and was invisible when I went to pick her up and ask her to rejoin. As she is invisible, how can I speak to her?

    I tried different spells to unhide her by dispelling general invisibility, but it didn't affect Nalia. I know she is there because when I enter the bar, I see the puff of smoke animation related to the wielding of that staff and its invisibility getting into effect. A text message also says "Nalia protected against evil."

    Is there a way to import her as she was when she left my team, using Shadowkeeper, maybe? I still have the save game from when she was still on my team. Or a CLUA trick?

    LOL!

    Try Dispell Magic, from a caster, paladin or from scroll. The spells Detect Invisibility or Invisibility Purge might work as well, but I rather it's the former.

    The True Sight spell could work too, I gather. Or try killing some beggars, maybe she will react, lol.

    True Sight has no effect at all :( . I'll try the others and post back...

    See if you can scroll over her with the mouse and have nit ctrl-r. You need cheats enabled. You can also try Glitterdust, but that might turn the locals hostile.

    Have you tried:
    Detect Invisibility - Wizard 2
    Detect Illusion - Wizard 3
    Remove Magic - Wizard 3
    Invisibility Purge - Cleric 3

    I had the same thing happen with Jan ... he was also wearing the cloak of non-detection. I can't remember what I did to make him talk again (boy was THAT a mistake) ... sorry. It might have been dispel magic from Keldorn.

    So funny! I used Dispel Magic, from Jaheira, and it worked!

    I had no idea Dispel Magic could cancel Invisibility... it probably works because it's an AOE spell!
