Soccer or basketball?

Basketball. Soccer is too boring.

 

Football out of the two mentioned. Although this has been a rather disappointing season thus far .

 

Football sucks. I can't throw, catch, or tackle. Wait a sec, you mean soccer. Oh. . . excuse my boorish American side.

But I hate soccer anyways. I have clumsy feet, and I have no endurance.

But then again, I can't make lay-ups or dunks well. I just prefer to make a good shot from the distance.

 

I'd completly go with basketball. It's awesome. My favorite sport.

 

In my humble opinion, basketball blows. Yes, a hoosier did just say that. And I do moderately well when ever I play it. Football (soccer) on the other hand is the greates sport ever created (excluding shuffleboard, ice hockey, and foozball). I have played soccer for over 11 years and have done very well with it. It is truly a sport that requires finess, endurance, and patience. There are also kick-arse riots. Don't see that in basketball.

Watching soccer is sometimes (very often ) boring, but i prefer playing it more than basketball. Basketball is best 2vs2 or 1vs1 more is too crowdy under the ...

 

hey, prion-boy! everyone should play football (not soccer!) constitutively.

 

Perhaps I'm not extremely constuitive, unlike gods, so I do not play soccer well.

The name is not soccer, the name is football. Rename the american thing to "carryball" or something. The europeans came first.

 

Neither, though if had to choose than football.
I love bikeraces such as the World Superbikes and the Grand Prix for bikes 125, 250 and 500 cc and supersport (600 cc). A good Formula 1 race or the Indy 500 is worth looking at also.

And yes, it´s called football hence it is played with the foot, basketball cause of the basket the ball is supposed to be dropped in. American football, as they call it, should be called something like `Carryball (Good suggestion Mollusken), H-Ball, Yardball, Lineball, `watch-how-enormously-slow-this-game-isball´, Kickball, Throwball, Catchball or maybe just soccer...

Basketball! I suspect many already know of my passion for the game.

Cricket is a silly game, but at least it is infinitely better than baseball. Both of these games win the lowest common denominator award though.

Football is a good game.

Has anyone heard the little saying about football and rugby? "Football is a game played by gentlemen and watched by thugs; rugby is played by thugs and watched by gentlemen". like that one, perhaps I'll post it in the "Quotes" topic; then you can all read it twice.

I like Soccer more because it requires more endurance: at least footballers get a little rest time after each play. With soccer, there is constant action!

 

That's right, I've read from somewhere that the in a football game the players run approximately 10 to 12 kilometers/7-9 miles

Basketball rules. Soccer is good game to play but you need to be doped up to make it through one of those thrilling 1-0 games.Basketball is one of the few games in which you need everything to play well. The best athletes are basketball players.American football(it is misnamed) is the most fun to watch as it has the most contact(props goto Aussie rules and rugby and ice hockey). Anysport where you get to hit people rocks. Boxing isn't a sport(only one contestant per side). So here's the best list of sports to watch playoff time. Football,Ice Hockey,Basketball,some other sports...Baseball...whole lotta sports and finally Soccer.......And the Academy award for best/worst actor(s) in a sport goes to .........S O C C E R....

 

slackertoast- what on earth are you talking about? 'the best athletes are basketball players'? there's NO way you can compare running around a 15 x 27 metre court for a maximum of 20 minutes (interrupted!) with going up and down a 70 x 100 metre pitch for 45 minutes at a time! football players definitely have to be fitter!

admittedly though, our greatest living athlete is probably michael jordan. no-one will forget that last game before he last 'retired'- playing with a fever! that was simply amazing. however, mj really is the exception, not the rule.
