I have downloaded and played the demo and I think that it is truly a great continuation to a great series.

The combat system has been improved so that units behave and fight more intelligently: Legionaries form tight defensive formations while cavalry dart around and try to poke them with spears. It is a big improvment from when all units simply pounded on each other.

But the best thing has to be the War Elephants. In the one battle included they play an integral bone crushing, body hurling, terror spreading role. They add extra tactical depth to the usual mix of units.

The stratigic map has also been spruced up: armies can now move anywhere on the map civ-style alowing you to flank your opponenets and/or start on better terrain.

Unfortunately they changed the interface which makes it harder to control your troops.

And no, I do not work for its developer. :p

Great demo! Those Romans got a whoopin'.

Very fun indeed, there is certainly a very tactical depth to it.

As I have said I bought this game, and its great...but when ever I play a full Campaign and I defeat one of the opposing clans, my game crashes!

Is there any fix for this?

I already have the patch for it.
