First an X-rated version of Diablo, now that? What's with all these images I just don't want?

That's what you get for having an over active imagination.

    My :2c:

Nudity is only sexy in small doses and if I want porn I'll find the real thing.

I am a Baldur's Gate Fan. It had violence, romance but no nudity. No actual sex. The curtain was drawn and your imagination took over. I still consider it the model for this type of game. A game IMO should have story and action. It should stimulate the intellect and the imagination. giskard has developed a mod for Oblivion that allows you to have a dancing girl or boy. I love to have my female character sit watching him dance. I clothed him with a sexy outfit from another mod and enjoy it very much. I have videos on xfire showing him dancing. Lots of fun but no sex. I can dream can't I

 Chandos, you can have fun without sex and sex without fun but of course you can have both but IMO explicit sex doesn't belong in any game I want to play. Watching a bunch of nude guys and gals walk around is not my idea of fun either. Of course in the games the characters can all be made to be gorgeous, handsome. Totally unrealistic. Let us be honest most of us look better with proper clothing. A dancer with seven veils is sexier than a nude dancer. I'm all for nudity in the proper place but my games are not the proper place.

I'm not a voyeur either so watching characters make out doesn't cut for me either.

I agree, which is why I don't play any of the Sims.

I think it was Woody Allen who said: "Bad sex is better than no sex at all." But WA is a perv anyway. Nevertheless, I still think it's an interesting argument that killing and stealing are more "moral" in games than showing any skin. Social taboos are powerful....

Indeed, Chandos. Many people are fine with games that allow senseless violence and other criminal acts, but as soon as sex steps into the picture, there's a cry for justice.

Perhaps one of the best examples is Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas and the infamous Hot Coffee Mod. Many parents were completely fine with purchasing a game about killing people, stealing cars, selling drugs and blowing **** up (I know, I know, GTA isn't just that, but work with me here) but when they found out that their children were actually seeing a SEX SCENE in the game, they complained something fierce.

Oh, and then there was Mass Effect. The so-called "rape simulator", so labeled by people who had never actually played the game, watched anyone play the game or read the back cover, and had just heard there would be an optional romantic scene between the player and selected character. They didn't actually bother to see what it was all about, they just started screaming as soon as sex was mentioned.
Of course, they were completely right. I've never been so disgusted as when I saw that consensual half minute scene and the blue alien buttocks
