I picked this game up off ebay for a couple bucks. For those of you who have played this game, what are your thought and did you like it?

it's a big game made by small company. That's the problem, small company too ambitious making big game. So, it comes with bug, and if you are unlucky, broken quest. The world map is ridiculous big and it will turn you off for exploring it fully.

what i like about the game is its leveling system. Customizable super power gives you a variety ways to play the game with same character!

    good game, 7/10.

A good kill'em all with plenty of way overpowered armors, weapons and items. When your weakest character starts making damage for 2000 points you may get bored.

In any case, I love being able to ride horses and fight from horseback.

It's just another hack n' slash parody of Diablo if you're the casual-gamer type.
However, if you're one of the hardcore, critical gamers you'll find that it's combat and skill system is much more diverse than Diablo's and you can really appreciate the game for all that it really is - a hack n'slash game that goes beyond just using a sword, a spell and a few tactics.
As far as story and roleplaying elements go, however, the game still sucks. But with everything else, it gets a fat score.

Like you Abdel I picked up Sacred Gold for £5 ($9) which included its expansion, I quite enjoy it, not sure what I'm doing ever because it is big, but hey it's fun.

As for a parody of Diablo I wouldn't know, never played it...

For those of you who play the Sacred Gold edition, it's Starforce protected, so you might wanna download the tool that removes that blasted piece of crap from your system.

Other than that it's quite an entertaining game, i've finished it twice now, and the expansion too. It's good that your enemies increase in strength when you level up, otherwise it would become boring rather quickly.

Nope, it only removes the software protection. There's been a lot of fuss about this, apparently it renders a lot of Windows security updates useless, including SP2. Basically it opens up your system's defenses for threats that aren't really threats anymore since the coming of SP2. They had a lot of negative publicity on this, and most softwarehouses won't do business with them anymore.

But the game will still run after deleting Starforce, and that's what matters most.
