Nice to see you, Charl. Been a long time, hasn't it?

And yes, *I* did got a laugh out of it. Can't say the same for the chick on the receiving end. She's F'N POed, and I wouldn't expect anything less. *shrugs* Let her be pissed if she so wants. As long as the video doesen't end on YouTube, then there's no problem.

Hate to be against you, but my curiosity has been sufficiently piqued...

I'm rooting to see it on youtube

If I didn't knew ya better, I'd be creeped out. Big time. No chance in hell it will pop on youtube - I took all the necessary precautions.

And the poor chick on the receiving end of the wrong video shrugged it off after I apologized. As a matter of fact, I think it had a reverse effect - I saw a little glint in her eyes. She seems to want something long-term with yours truly Taken Chick magnet. I, OTOH, am more interested in the other chick.

Yeah... I knew what it was (or at least could guess the generals), I just wanted to play it up.

Frustration. I hate that when I "fall for someone" and realize that nothing is going to happen, that I cannot end the feelings. There needs to be a shutoff valve or something... please. As such I am essentially best friends with one of the most amazing girls I've ever met, and want to eliminate those feelings because I'm scared that they may compromise our friendship.

Plus it sucks to know that you don't have a chance with the object of your affection.

If you don't have a chance, perhaps the object is misplaced. Besides, it's a matter of compatibility more than chance. Were she your girl, she would want to be it.

Well I should say more that I "don't have a chance" because she is taken. Which is a great barrier towards such action. Outside of that, who knows, since I have heard her friends mention that she had a slight fancy to me...

Oh well, the point is that I wish I didn't have these feelings as long as nothing can come of them. Basically it makes it an emotional roller coaster to say the least. She often complains about her boyfriend to me and as such I have to silence thoughts like, dump him (lol at bluntness), and help her figure out ways to work things out, because I'm a friend. On the other hand on the occasions where she mentions that things are going well in that relationship, it inevitably puts me in a worse mood, but I still have to say how I'm happy for her. I'd rather just be neutral to these things, as friendship in this case most certainly comes before any notions of something more.

edit: I just realized that you don't have to type out [i ][/ i] when you want italics or something... you can just control+i... amazing

edit 2: As if on cue she called about exactly when I last pressed the post button. I'm fairly new to having people just call to talk for about twenty minutes, even when there's nothing to be said. I'm going to go walk her to work now, funny how that worked out.

Got a problem, I keep trying to end my relationship as I don't feel it's working. However, my lass is really in love with me and won't let me go. She's like a super-boomerang, the harder I throw her the harder she comes back. I've told her that I don't want to be with her anymore, although it's nothing to do with her. I do really like the girl, and she's very hot, but something is missing. When I try to end it though she tells me she loves me, doesn't want to lose me and usually goes to try and kiss me. I really fancy her still and can't say no when she kisses me, so basically we're still having sex. However I feel really guilty when as I honestly don't see us having a good future as a couple... how do I get out of this one then. I've tried to talk to her and she won't listen. I've tried to push her off when she goes to kiss me, but she just got really upset and started crying, so I felt really bad, put my arms round her, and we ended up kissing anyway. It's a right pain in the arse at minute!

Barms, my best advice on that one is plainly to get a new chick, have an affair, hell, anything that would explode in her face and hopefully FINALLY make her get the hint.

I like her though and don't want her to be hurt. She's a good girl. It's a big shame we don't work really... but we don't. I really don't want her to be upset or hurt though.

Keep your distance - tell her it's over one more time, then cut contact.

[IMG] Get your stuff from her place, keep her stuff all together and easy to take away. Stop the sex and don't kiss her when you tell her it's over.

If she can't accept it's over then simply changing to being her boyfriend again and continuing as normal is going to make it WORSE. Tell her it's over, tell her you're serious and tell her to get off you.

Stop giving in, she'll just get more persistant, cling onto you more and she knows crying and kissing seems to patch up. Go out with some mates on nights you usually meet up, then she can't just turn up unannounced either.

    In other news...
Sal is a little irritated at a mutual friend of ours who sent me invites for the Ann Summers application on Facebook :xx: said friend has already told Alex he thinks I'm cute and has already said to me to feel free to join him and his fiancé for some fun if Alex and I ever split up

LMAO! Can you feel the heat?

On a more serious note, 8peeps pretty much nailed it if you want to part ways amicably. I never imagined it could be possible, but it looks like I'm more of a dirtbag (extreme mesures) than you on that one (amical parting), Barms...

    (BTW, peeps... you *are* cute.)

Cheers. I was a bit funny with her for a bit and I think she's finally now got it, it's a shame because I do like her, and she likes me. That's just not enough though sometimes. She's asked me to go out for a drink sometime soon though, as mate. I'm not sure if it's a good idea, but I don't want her to think I've tuned into a cock and start doing things to piss me off (which women do!). I still want to get on with her. My head's allover lately, you start to think 'maybe we could make it work' because you like the person... life's too short to be forcing a relationship to work though, it should be easy.

Not leading people on is sometimes hard. Especially if they're great company, you just don't see yourself sharing a lifetime with them. Sometimes just liking someone isn't enough, either.

Barmy, you need some peace and calm. You obviously need a good, kind, warm-hearted lass, much in the old style. And the time's coming where you marry one, not just take her to the cinema or the drink bar. Sooner or later you've got to start thinking about that. Got to start being serious. Else girls are going to get hurt. In our age range, they don't really want undefined relationships any more. They want a guy for good, even if they don't say that. Deep inside they're all more traditional than they seem or think. Most of them want a husband and kids.

Instabilities... Some people just aren't normal. If they had a good, working relationship with that guy they are with, they wouldn't make moves on you. They act on short-term whims, but I doubt that's how they want to live their lives long-term. If their boyfriends were more of a Mr Right, the problem would almost not exist at all.
