    Interesting observation... I did some googling and all reports seem to indicate that there's nothing on the market right now that would saturate even 2.0 and that performance benefits of 3.0 are in the range of a few % at most and only for the most powerful of GPUs. So I think I'll be OK on that front.

    May need more ram but other then that for your needs it should be perfectly fine and will last you quite a while.

    I was considering going for 16 but it's not that cheap right now so I've settled on 8 for the moment. I'll just add more later if needed.
