I'm sorry DS, but Kongol doesn't like large bodies of water, so he won't cross the sea.

I also want us to cross the dessert as I have something planed for then, I hope that is ok with all of you!

Note: I look all over the map and I didn't see this THAY, where is it anyway?

 

If we go through Thay, we will get eaten by Red WIzards. Maron likes water, though, just to counter everyone else.

 

Thay is just south of Rasheman, right smack in the middle of the upper-rightmost map.

 

Just an idea, water would have brought pirates (arrr) and other watery into play, as well as would have being quicker.

 

Ah, DarkStrider, we're not on the ocean yet and isn't that different RP anyway?

And quicker? Not if we get blown off course. That lake has some fearsome storms on it.

Nakia doesn't dislike water but neither does she have much use for it. She is a rogue not a pirate. What's to steal ..er I mean find.. on a ship you can't get off of?

 

Jex is running into a problem related to his fathers family. Someone has a fued and every male with the same bloodline is experiencing similar pains. Jex will want to hunt down the man. We'll learn more when we arrive at a temple. He could use some clerical help though.

Yeah I noticed Maron isn't doing her bit to help Ciana be cured, as she has the scroll that cures Ciana and removes the geas. No worries though, another town, another temple; I estimate another 4 weeks before Ciana will start to fall apart and need sectioning.

 

Whoops! Forgot about that. Ah well, another town, another temple.

Why can't any cleric do it, actually?

No it's supposed to be in a sacred place so that the god gets involved, ideally consecrated to Corellon Larethian or any Good God, ie a temple.

Jex has a special quest now. Kongol has something coming up and we still have all those temples to visit. Poor Nakia, all those temples and the only one she has been able to rob was with permission.

edit: don't let me forget that Nakia has to go a temple, I think any temple will do, to get the scroll in shape to be read.
