Yes, I don't anything of their never productions. Often - I think - the older stuff is better, this almost applies to every band...

Yeah, many bands' older stuff is better. A couple of exceptions to the rule: The big three of thrash: Sodom, Kreator, Destruction. All of Sodom's albums totally pwn. Kreator, it was good until the "soft" albums, but the new albums have been truly worthwile. Destruction, as long as Schmier is on board, it's awesome stuff.

I thought the big three in thrash were Megadeth, Pantera, and Anthrax. Or Metallica...

Testament and Overkill were superior thrash. German thrash was also great.

When thrash was at is peak, Pantera were known as the 'Cowgirls from Maxfactor' :D (check out their first album)

The big three DotW mentioned are all European. There's also the "four horsemen" of thrash, and this refers to American west coast bands. Metallica, Megadeth, Slayer and Exodus, if memory serves. Or maybe Testament was one of them.

THe problem is not that I couldn't get the 65 euros I need fotr the gig - ticket + travel - as much as it is that I should save that moneyfor my UK trip, or, I should time my trip so that I leave mimmediately after the damned gig (so ok,t he next day) which would nessecitate me managing to get 500euros out of nowhere :bang:

I just listened to Dragonforce's Inhumane Rampage and decided that songs like that are good once in a while, such as in an extensive playlist, but all together, my brain just hurts.
