It's a Slayer album. I'm not sure if that is all you meant by it, but I just realized that they had the same name...

Ah, who am I kidding, so did I.

Haven't listened to it yet though.

Oh :( I don't feel nearly as special anymore. Is it related to Slayer/their lyrics?

Saber, it's March 13th release in the UK. I bought it.
In fact, as I bought it at an independant store, I got a signed card with it, so nwah!

Oh, hmm, it's out later here, but I DLed it (shhh) to see if I want to buy it... it is damn good! (I am listening right now), far better than their other stuff because it isn't repetitive and so annoyingly epic. But I'm not sure if I want to spend money on it, it's not really my style.

Damn, I need to find someone who wants to go to the Dark Tranquillity, Scar Symmetry, Soilwork, Into Eternity concert. I don't want to go alone, it's in a sketchy place.

Hmm, I guess I did not revive the thread as well as I thought... oh well.

What genre is Behemoth? Black metal? Death metal? Blackened Death Metal? Dead Black Metal?

What is their best stuff? I really like Demigod after the first run through.

And also, what is some good black metal to get into? Melodic or otherwise.

Their best stuff is Demigod, Satanica and Thelma 6.

    As for black metal recommendations:
Emperor, Burzum, Mayhem, Darkthrone, Satyricon, Immortal, ANorexia Nervosa to name only few.

Luckily this isn't the RBP - nine posts by Saber on this page.

The Down tour is back on. Anselmo's healthy again. Get off the tour, already, I say, and finish the album!

I wonder who's going to sing for Anthrax now that Belladonna's out (again... ) and Bush has other things going on.

I had no idea Sweden was Heaven. :outta:

Haha, yes, I am glad a moderator has not cracked down on us... I assume it is because it is not nearly as popular as the RBP, and this is only the 4th one.

o.0 Anthrax is still around? How many thrash bands from the 80's are still playing?

All the big ones, basically. I can't really think of one that isn't.

In case Harbs is reading this, that means Anthrax, Testament, Metallica, Megadeth, Slayer and Exodus. I think the European ones are still around too, Sodom, Destruction and whatnot.

Found out today that Flea and John Frusciante have close ties to a band called Fishbone. And Fishbone is playing at Bluesfest just a couple of days before the Peppers play in Brisbane (which I am also going to)

If Flea and JF turn up to play with Fishbone (as they have recorded a song together), that will make my year. I could die after the Peppers concert and wouldnt give a damn as my life would feel complete.

Edit: just put the dancing bananas in
