Aren't there humans like this as well, where the body doesn't seem to know when to stop growing so they just continue to grow and grow?

Who knows if it's natural or artificially induced... we've all seen plenty of pictures of grotesque-looking humans due to steroid abuse, so I wouldn't be surprised if growth hormones and other illegal (?) drugs couldn't produce a dog like that.

    Election day!

Any person who did not vote, must shut up until they have with the next election.

We have a nice little graffiti around here which says (in translation), "If elections could change anything, they would be illegal."

I think democracy is a nice little idea, but that's pretty much all it is. In practice it's an abomination and I want no part in it.

They can take their "civic duty" and shove it down their lying throats as far as I'm concerned. :p

My shift keys died overnight for no apparent reason, and it just so happens that I don't have a single spare keyboard around here so I could test if it's an actual keyboard problem. Although I did boot the rig in FreeDOS and I had the same issue, so it probably can't be anything other than a keyboard failure. It might be time to thoroughly wash the keyboard and see if that fixes the problem, otherwise I'll need to get a new one.

I do find that it's next to impossible to do anything productive on the computer without functioning shift keys though. Guess I'm taking some time off.

As much as I dislike how democracy works in practice, is there really any alternative? A system ruled by select interests or groups doesn't turn out much better.

There are plenty of alternatives. Whether they are better or not is arguable, however. But that is more of a discussion for Alley of Lingering Sighs.

I dunno, Singapore seemed to do alright. There's a time and place for different political systems.

Pillars of Eternity product keys can now be generated. I'm getting hyped, but I'll stay away for a couple of weeks at least, so they can fix the most pressing issues.

It's a good game, fully patched with third party fixes. It's kinda hard to get into though if you're not all that interested in the setting.

I have to admit I find those Kate Upton wannabe Galadriel commercials pretty amusing. :shake:

Fallout 3 is awesomelishous with sprinkles and whipped cream. Sadly I played it to death but I still always get hooked back in if I see other people playing it.

Fallout 3 is average at best. Now New Vegas on the other hand...
