    I am tired and fat.

Well, mostly tired, Thanksgiving doesn't actually let you gain weight.

Woo! Trier rocks! ("WTH is Trier?" It's Germany's oldest city and original capital, you boobs)

I bought a 10€ box that has an expensive-looking watch, a quality belt, nice pen and a lighter inside. Also bought three wallpapers, Homer, Scarface and Star Wars IV.

This sucks. It looks like I am going to be getting an offer letter for a job that I applied for back in September. The job is slightly better, and from what they were saying the pay will be considerably higher, than the job offer I accepted on Monday. Now I have to decide whether or not I should be a complete jerk and back out on the job offer that I accepted. Either way I am going to feel bad about this.

    Damn.

JSBB, which one is better in the long run (promotion possibilities?)? Also, "from what they were saying"...

There would be more room to move around in my current company but the other job would be much more impressive on my resume so in reality it would be a much better choice careerwise.

I don't know what the pay they will be offering for the job but based upon their, and the headhunter's hints, it will be high. I don't know how it is elsewhere but around here you tend not to discuss the job's pay at the interview stage - mostly I guess because it gives the impression that all you care about is the money.

I found a great place to buy seed for the ducks, geese, swans, pigeons, seagulls and cormorants we feed on occasion: the bulk food store! The Bulk Barn has wild bird seed for $.34/lb or $.08/100 grams; this means we can get 5lbs of food for less than $2! So much better than Wally World.

Well, it looks like you're more inclined to take up the new offer. Understandably. :)

Backing out of your current job may sting a little now, but is probably better in the long run.

    I would. I'm ruthless like that. :p

No, really, perhaps the current job would be better for someone that wants to "settle" and stay with the same company, but you sound like you have higher ambitions. ;)

/me tosses Magister a bottle of pure caffeine powder

Built a server and fixed a few Macs today. Refreshing change.

I've also overheard from the boss' secretary that the upcoming Xmas party likely would be my "initiation". Why don't I like the sound of that, I wonder...? :mommy: :mommy: :mommy: :mommy: :mommy:

My grandmother is in the ER with a dislocated hip. It's almost 3am in my neck of the woods right now, and her Birthday party is supposed to be at 3pm today
