@Uytuun - I hear ya! Although my family is very modern in thought about womens rights, and how women can do just about any job we still find all the men sitting around after a family dinner....digesting. On the other hand...if I decided to do the same thing I would just be pinned as lazy! I really wish all the women of my family would get together on a major holiday and boycott cooking and cleaning. Make the men do the work for a once. Unfortunatly we all would probably get food poisening.

Like Rags, I cook and do my own dishes. Of course, I live alone so it doesen't really count... but back with Jezebel we'd share that boring chore 50-50. No more housemates for me - I'm too damn well in my own place by myself. Well, got the cats and the scorpion (the Emperor died of old age... appearantly), so I'm not really alone.

    Last exam tomorrow... blargh.

Haven't posted in RBP for awhile so I'll add my bit to help along the spamming.

And just remember: It is ROGUE not rouge.

Haven't caught anyone lately, I must be getting old.

A friend sent me a link to these photographs from New York from the 1880's until the present. I thought they might interest any historically minded New Yorkers (and others).

I love historical photos. I expecially liked the ones of the construction workers building the Empire State building. Those guys had a lot of guts to work in such a perilous situation.

Ah Beren finally woke up. All we need after my bit of babble are 4 more spa...er babblers and Beren has a chance of starting #98.

Things are a bit slow. Maybe we are all waiting to for the new board.

Re the Harry Potter thread...I wouldn't touch it with the famous ten foot pole. :hippy:

Doesnt it suck when you have a great job that pays well and has a heap of good fringe benefits when your working (like free drinks/meals, free entrance to events etc) but is contract based and only provides a few days of work a month.

Thank god for having 2 jobs.

Mt. Dew... blargh.

Even the Dew Energy (the AMP crap) sucks. My friend bought one to try it out - both regular and "Overdrive", and I took a few sips - both are simply DIS-GUS-TING.

Mom got Grandma a stepper machine. I've been working out on it too. Not long stretches, but hopefully I can shrink the waist a bit without killing my knees...
