Got a bad temperature. I hate it, it makes you feel lethargic. Then one minute you're sweating like a bitch, the next you're freezing cold. Work was a nightmare today. I'm always in the bloody wars me!

I had to take my cat to the vet Friday because she was peeing all over the place, even though her litter box was clean. As I had suspected, she has a bladder and urinary tact infection. I am now shoving pills down a cat' throat twice a day. At least my cat is fairly good at taking pills, so it's quick.

In other news, it's hot down here, and we're still is desperate need of rain.

Oh I've done my share of shoving pills down cats throats... You have to make sure and pin the front legs or you will suffer much injury to your hands.

Dragonfly is our resident Cat + Pills expert :)

I find wrapping them in a piece of ham works, one of our cats is so greedy that he wolfs it down without even noticing

revmaf, I know. I helped a neighbour put about 500 bales on wagons this afternoon, to be unloaded in the morning...

Meanwhile, I don't know how many Dad has to put in our barn...

Actually, I don't, that's the odd part. She does not run away whne I cut the pill out of the wrapper, she jumps up on my lap when I call her, and only wiggles a bit when I open her mouth to shove the pill in. She's never tried to bite or claw me.
of course, at the tender age of three months(ish) she had to have a partial tail amputation; pain pills and antibiotics were being given to her many times a day. I think that may have created her rather blase attitude about being pilled... not that I mind.

My dog was unbelievable when we had to give her pills. The first couple of times she just ate them, but then she decided to start spitting them out. So we started wrapping them in bread and tossing them to her (she'd swallow without tasting, we've gotten her to eat paper that way) and she'd eat it then. She caught on to that too, apparantly, and started to regurgitate the pills about thirty minutes later. After that we had to rely on brute force.

I'm going to see a thearter production of "The Pillow Man"

The title may sound normal, but it's apparantly about a psychopath... I'm not sure if I'm looking forward to going to this :bad:

I'll tell you how it was later.

    P.S. It's raining.

I'm back from Greece and I have a new Phaistos disc mousepad... lol. The trip was great and I've seen a lot of nice things (and people), caught some tan, got some souvenirs.

I slept on 4 pillows last night which had me at a 90* angle. It's not easy sleeping sitting up in a place where you normally lay down. I should've gone upstairs and slept in one of the comfy chairs.

Oh and none of my pets ever had to take pills.

    Something's missing from my life.
    Not love.
    Not inspiration.
    Not happiness.

    But a (functional) DVD-drive. Sigh.

    ...sphincter
